Now I will test again today - when the rain has passed - and hope for the very best.....

As DJI CBA to update the release notes on the Mini 3 page, did it say what it had fixed, or was it the usual meaningless "bugs and optimisation"?

I'll be looking forward to your results on 0300.  I can't test here as the rains finally stopped late yesterday evening but the winds are way too strong to fly today.  

Available to download via WiFi from RC .... loading now .... says only correct the compass issue.

Downloading now.   Time they did incremental updates.  

I can confirm its sorted the compass - though mine still had a glitch for the first couple of minutes of flight where the aircraft was showing where it should be, but I had no arrow off the controller location.  Suddenly that snapped into life, and I couldn't repeat it.

Not tested much else to see what they have broken with this one.

100% compass fixed for me, no glitching. Just works as it should

Du you use "DJI Assistent 2 for Consumer Drones"...?

It's very important for me to always keep the controller in the "best" direction of the M3Pro...

It happens to me very often that the controller symbol is not displayed at the beginning!  

Then I go briefly into the settings, to "Calibrate compass" and after that it works...
.... although the compass is almost never actually calibrated, which means that you don't have the opportunity to make the corresponding movements of the controller...

USB 3.0, original cable from DJI. The system detects the connection, rc informs that there is a connection to pc, but DJI Assistant 2 for consumer drones does not connect.

...then make sure you are on v2.1.10 of the App...

Thanks for the results Franky.    Much appreciated.  I've also found that the top of the RC where the antennas are located has to point perfectly at the drone to get the best connectivity.

Thanks, I guess that's the reason. I have version 2.1.7 and 2.1.10 is only compatible with the mini 3 pro. Interesting that there is no problem with the drone, it detects and upgraded the drone. Only rc does not contact.

Its the RC you're trying to update its firmware...not the M3P' firmware.

Thanks for the testing, does it fix the radar and maps incremental turning being to large a step, so the turning is lumpy, is it now smooth like on other drones?

... I had a pretty short test today. Everything seemed to work (again) very nicely.
I've also seen a few YouTube videos that demonstrated the functionality well...

EDIT: Sadly nope, it is still turning in too large an increment...

Hi, My WIFI is good. Remote and aircraft are connected. Go to do this update and starts to download for about 15 seconds  and then stops and never continue to download. Never had this problem. Thank you

Try with the AC disconnected, dont know if it will work but it is just the RC being updated to the AC is not needed....
EDIT: It does work without the AC connected, just downloading mine now...
