That's a grand view and a great perspective.

To the left of the land there are some black lines in the sand,  they are the remains of roman fishing and oyster traps.   And on the ground you can still find roman tile.   And somewhere there is a B17 crashed in 1944 but Ive never figured out where it is.

Which reminds me I should go and look for the V2 crash site on the marshes.

Quite a bit of wartime débris along that coast I should imagine.
And the archaeological remains must be worth a look.

Ive done my jobs for the day so Im going to head over to the marsh and see if I can find the crash site,  its not on the V2 crash database but I think I know roughly where it is.

Have a good scout round.  We braved the elements and took the bus to our favourite café for brunch after the white goods were delivered. Still raining

What an amazing shot DA.    From the angle of that shot it gives you a really great view of that locale.  Is it safe to assume that this was at low tide?

Cheers DT.  Yes that was low tide.   Might have to send the mini 3 in at full tide for a comparison.


Ps.  That potential scam I mentioned. Wasn’t and it paid off.

Ps did you go for white?  I’ve been moving over to silver or stainless finishes.

I insisted that we stick with white.
The new oven is white, and the washer/dryer which is only a year old. The gas hob is white.
So I put my foot down for once
