Hi,My Osmo mobile 3 requires calibration each time i power it on. Else, it rotates screen clockwise if i trying to point my camera (rotating handle) to the left. And it rotates screen countyerclockwise if i am trying to point my camera to the object on my right side.


After calibration it works as expected. Each time i poweroff/poweron the gimbal situation the same - requires to calibrate. It looks like "calibration values" or whatever it gets during calibration, is not survive device reboot.

* I tried to reset the gimbal (simultaneously press Meniu, Shooter and Trigger buttons). It resets the device, as i was asked to connect it again to my phone (HUAWEI EML-L29) after that. This does not helped.

* I also downloaded latest DJI Mimo (v=1.7.20) i managed to find - issues still remain.

Any ideas whats wrong with it? Is it fixable with software updates, or this is hardware issues? It would be very weird, as i probably would be able to count on my fingers how many times i charged my gimbal I mean it was not hevily used.

You may try to reinstall the latest version of the DJI from our official website to check if the problem persists, note to back up the video/picture files.

Hi,

If i understand properly gimbal firmware version is: 01.00.00.90


App version: 1.7.20


Her are the videos. The firs one i just powered on, connected over BT and started recording. I put handle (not joystick)  on the table so i rotate it to the left then right:

Last question - any ideas how much it could cost? As my warranty ended couple months ago. If spare parts and repair service will cost half of its original price + shipping, i do not think it worth

Hi,

This is what i was afraid about and tried to clarify before sending it to service:

Total price is much more than half of it self. By adding +30EUR i can buy new "combo" set here, meanwhile mine was even not a "combo"!
I do not think i want to repair it.

If i understand properly, even shipment to NL and back to LT is almost 50% of its new price What would be the cheapest way for you to send it back to me ? Or what else options do i have now?

Hi,

I just got my gimbal back. Unfortunately now it does not become stable even after calibration... .
Before your experts/technitians performed the tests at least I had a workaround to use it. I just need to run calibration after power-on. Now it become absolutely useless.

So "thank you" for great support and "good experience" !

Forget it. Anyway i need to buy a new alternative. Its simply sad about support staff communication and tech guys for this high tech brand.

But, as i mentioned, forget about it. I am not going to fix it anymore. Video is just for your tech guys. I hope they will do some test after reassembly for other people devices to make sure device remain the same even someone do not want to repair it
