Good morning,I'm flying my MIni 3 pro, RC version, since the end of June without any problem. In the past i I 've been able to update the software (firmware and App) up to my current situation:


Air craft firmware 01.00.0201
RC firmware 1.01.0000
Fly app ver. 1.6.8


Yesterday i tried to update the software but I was not able to download the newest firmware over WiFi (Same system and configuration as in the past). The message that appeared was: "Server error. Wait a moment and try again (Error code: -4)". So, I also tried to from the hot spot of my i-phone with the same result. What's the problem? What can I do?

I was locked out since yesterday and after getting nowhere w DJI support I just started looking at everything that seemed diff. I hope this is everyone’s issue. Thanks.

Another with same  ... "Server error. Wait a moment and try again (Error code: -4)" when trying to update Aircraft Firmware. Tried with home wifi and iPhone hotspot.  Both fail.  However, when trying to "Check for Updates" of the "FlySafe Database" both connection modes tell me "Your firmware is up to date".  How do I fix the server error for updating the Aircraft Firmware?

08 11 2022 / I had the same problem, the way I selected was going to my profile, then setting and firmware update then check for firmware updates , soon after the update option appeared

Make sure you are logged in in your controller and then connect your drone. That fixed my issue and immediately sent me a notification that firmware upgrade is available.

This worked for me as well. Thanks so much for posting this. I had NO idea you needed to be logged in on the controller for the update to work.

The problem is the reported erros, showing to wait to server comes back. Is not true, is just because your remote control is not logged. Just go to the initial screen and do login with your account.

I tried several times checking for the server, waiting, trying again, and was only the login. It's a shame to DJI!!!

Same problem. No server response. Went to profile then logged back in. Downloaded update from settings. You’d think they would add a “log back in” to download radio button warning us. I wasted a good part of my day going down a rabbit hole for this issue.
