From what I understood, the EU is working with drone manufacturers to have their drones labeled by CE categories.

I wonder what category the DJI FPV will fall into. It won't be C0 nor C1 as they impose a maximum speed of 19 meters per second. Unless a new firmware is released to limit the speed but that would render the product useless.

Does anyone know what category the DJI FPV will fall into and what impact it might/will have?

I highly doubt that DJI will update the FPV Race drone with new EU requirements and add a specific class! Remember, only the manufacturer can apply a specific class, if you change the characteristics of your drone, it does not change its category/class at all!

In this case, our beloved DJI FPV Race drone will fall under the 'legacy drones', category A3, which is more restrictive.
