Hi!

I'm getting an used DJI FPV.

The seller states it's brand new (less than 10 battery cycles), that it has never crashed or anything (no scratches at all), but he doesn't have the spare proppelers that comes into the combo.

Is it possible to see if it has crashed before by checking the flight logs with a MacBook with the Fly app on it, so I can check it before closing the deal?

Any other tips or advices in this case?

Good idea about flight logs.  How much are they selling for?  And does it have care refresh?

The most important thing you have to look out for is the battery cycles. Because, the DJI FPV has only 100 cycles per each battery.

Can't be true, is this an official statement? I have never read anything about it. 100 cycles is extremely low  for a LiPo battery, which should last at least 300-400 cycles, otherwise it is a total rip-off; furthermore this "smart" battery likes to discharge itself after 1-2 days (ridiculous) .

What I can imagine is that the battery is guaranteed to operate at 100% up to 100 charging cycles and then slowly degrades. This is normal.

So I guess it works better than recommended but DJI always leans strongly on safety.

When the battery "discharges" itself, it put's itself in storage mode. Storage mode normally activates when you don't use the battery for about 4-5 days.

Back on topic, I would ask the vendor to record a flight starting with a video from the goggle screens during the synchronization and then a short flight only to check if the drone is able to take off and land. Oh, no propellers? Suspicious! Is like selling a car without the wheels.
