Trying out a Dolly Zoom with Mini 3 Pro

Needs a little more practise but the efffect is certainly there.

The second try was pretty good. Do you do it live - zooming in the drone while flying forwards or backwards? As it is digital zoom anyway I guess it would be easier to do it in post.

Cheers Depp.  I did it live by flying backwards whilst zooming in.    Good point about being digital zoom.  I’ll try filming a ... just backing away and the try and do it digitally.

Might be worth a try. I'mo not sure if the on board digital zoom might be a bit better because maybe then they use more of the sensor but you could do a "scientific" test.

Just got back from filming a short slow reverse away without the zoom so I will try it latter once Ive done some chores.

Nice try - I'll have to practise it myself, as the effect just looks really cool. Good luck for your practise!

Very nice try DA.    That looks like something I might need to give a go.  The dolly effect is an  impressive move.
