I have the Mini 3 Pro with the DJI RC.  I update the RC firmware this weekend.  Although it corrected the issue with the compass just spinning around arbitrarily, I now have an accurate compass but have lost the RC indicator circle that that changes color from green to blue depending on the orientation of the RC to the drone position, this RC indicator is just gone.

I have not seen any other posts on YouTube about this issue with the new firmware.

Have you tried to refresh the firmware via DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series)?  That may help resolve the issue.

Same here with air2. Arrow on my screen is always 90 degrees from the direction of drone
