First mishap and thought I had got away with the collision with my shed.  Got a gimble stuck error, looks like there's a black strap that has broke behind the gimble.

On the return page it says to remove all intact propellers, is that correct?  I was going to remove the battery and sd card, also have a skin which might come off too.

If I do have to remove propellers has anyone used their own thread lock to re use the screws?

I have raised a case with DJI and i have care refresh

I removed the propellers for maintenance and I reinstalled them with the original screws, without adding any thread lock. I check the screws before almost every flight and they're always well locked.

Keep the original prop-blades in their original pairs, do not mix them up. If you wish to salvage the skin heat from a hair drier might help with its removal.

yeah when i take them off will put in separate resealable bags with front left, front right, etc and the screws that were with them

I've used Loctite blue and had no issues with re-using the original screws.

cheers downtown.  yeah used before on screws in model aircraft.  think as long as the screws come out and heads don't chew up i will be fine.

Yes remove battery and SD card. You will almost certainly receive a different drone new or as new.

Hi there, sorry for any confusion caused. May I know if you have shipped the drone out? If not, you can leave the propellers on the drone, and if the battery is not severely damaged, you can send it back for diagnosis as well, if it needs to be replaced, we will replace it if you use DJI Care Refresh (battery is covered under DJI Care Refresh for Mini 2).

Skin came off easy.  Lifted corner with hobby knife and thought of a great way to store till my replacement arrives.  Just prepping it now i have postage label

Mini 2 landed today.  Looks to be in a nice wrapped box so is it going to be new rather than a refurbished unit.  A* to DJI if it is.

Cannot fault the service.  Drone bound to my account and tested.  Impressed how it came packaged
