I've been looking forward to DJI making the RC Pro compatible with the Mini 3. Per email reply, DJI Mini 3 Pro firmware: v01.00.0300 makes RC Pro now compatible with the Mini 3.  However, when I use the Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series)the latest update available is v01.00.0201.  Could the update be rolling out by regions?

Just checked again using Assistant 2 and it still isn't showing 01.00.0300 being available.  Haven't heard anything back on my email inquiry yet either to the person that told me to upgrade to 0300.

I suspect that you were given the wrong information and the tech support person got it backwards.

To make the controller compatible to another drone you need to update the controller FW.

The FW version V01.01.0300 is the FW version to make the DJI RC compatible to the Mavic 3.

There is new FW for the DJI RC Pro V03.01.0800 that I am loading ATM. Its a no previous version capable update.

There is a matching Mavic 3 FW update of V01.00.0800 It has been a few weeks since I checked the Mavic 3 Cine and Air 2S.

This DJI RC Pro Update does not support the Mini 3 Pro. Yet.

My Mini 3 Pro is still at FW version V01.00.0201 as yours are:

In Summary. I can only assume that you were given incorrect information.

Maybe there is a future update as per the version that you have been given but it would still require a FW update to the DJI RC Pro as mini 3 Pro is still not selectable from the RC Pro device selection.

Thanks.  Most probably incorrect information from DJI.  

Will be nice when DJI finally does make the RC Pro compatible with the Mini 3.  

Meanwhile it's almost beer time.
