Air Unit Dying. How Do I Get it Repaired?

Hello DJI and All,

I have an FPV quad (Chimera 7) and the Air Unit started acting strange today.   I was out flying my 5" quad equipt with an Air Unit Lite and it worked flawlessly on two packs.   Now it's time to fly the big Chimera 7 with a full Air Unit and I get a black screen on the Googles.  It has never been crashed and it worked perfectly last week.   I've had this happen once before, but I unplug the battery and it worked the second time.  But not today!

Now I keep try unplugging and replugging the battery and I eventually get an image with vertical lines up and down.  Then I try plugging in my 4" quad with an Air Unit Lite and I get a perfect image.  I plug in the 5" with Air Unit Lite and I get a perfect image.  Try the the Chimera 7 with the full Air Unit and I get a black/gray screen again.   After 15 minutes or so I finally got a perfect image.  Cool it's working again!  Walk back to the shade and controller and image turns into lines.   I plug in a new fresh battery and horizontal lines transmitted.

I thought it was humidity, but it did fail once when I tested it inside.  It is currently working, but I don't trust this Air Unit at all.


Firmware is up to date on the Googles V2 and Air Unit.

What's wrong with my Air Unit System?  Camera bad, bad camera cable, or bad Air Unit?  How can I get it repaired or replaced?  It's only three months old.

Hi there, I am sorry to read about your case. Please check if the cable that connects the air unit and flight controller is loosened, clean the plug. If possible, please change the coaxial cable, you can refer to the tutorial below. If the issue persists, you can send the air unit back to us for further diagnosis.
