Hi,

My firend bought two Mavic Air 2 drones from official online DJI store.
His drone was successfully activated, but I am unable to activate mine, due to 1112 error - activation prohibited.
After 10 days of ping-pong over email with the support, sending serial numbers, photos, invoices, they claim drone with this serial number was refunded and that's why activation is prohibited.
We didn't refund the drone, if it was refunded it would have been in DJI warehouse not in my hands.
This is just unbelievable, anyone had similar issue with the drone activation and dji support?

I haven't had such an expierence but have you tried to activate it with your friends e-mail adress or with your own ?
Just a guess, maybe the serial is somehow linked to your friend, because he has bought it.
If DJI claims that it has been refunded, they should be able to proof it and at least your friend should be able to see it in his shop account.
If they can't i would request a new one and return the one that is blocked or they should, if possible, remove the serial from blocking.

I suspect that this drone was at some point refunded by someone else, sold once again by DJI.
But looks like entry of serial number was not cleared in some database that they have.

This is why i wrote they should be able to proof the refund to your friend.
If they cannot proof that it has been refunded to your friend, they should either release the serial or exchange it by a new drone.

I have just tried activation on his account, no luck, same error.
I have also checked order details and it looks ok, it is in completed state.

Hi there, I recently purchase a second hand mavic 3, it was sold as opened never used. However when I try to activate it I get the 1112 error contact DJI. The serial number for the drone is 1581F45TB21A51AD02R0. Can you please advise me if there is an issue with this serial number so I can contact the seller asap
