New to me, but probably not to you!  If you shut down the Pocket 2 with no filter, it will face inward.  If you shut down with a filter attached, it will close outward!

Probably so that it can be slotted back into its pocket without snagging on it - and for easy removal and replacement of the filter.

Now that makes perfect sense.  Appears DJI considered it best method to keep from knocking off filter and does make it easy for a filter change.  Got to love that convenience.
