Hi all,
I was attempting to test obstacle avoidance and turned it on while hovering. My mini 3 lurched forward and crashed into a wall 8 feet off the ground. As a result of the crash, the part of the gimabal that connects to the left side of the body appears to have disconnected from the rubber boot. What's worse, one of the tabs that hold the boot to the frame popped out.
I'm thinking if I can get the rubber tab back in that tiny little hole on the frame and wrap the rubber boot around the three plastic tabs on the gimbal I'll be in good shape. I tried for a few minutes to see if I can get the rubber tab in the small slot, but stopped for fear that I'd made things worse. Any ideas for getting the tab in the slot and wrapping the boot around the gimbal arm? My small flat head screwdriver felt like it was going to tear up the boot before getting the tab in the slot.
