I am attempting to find out what kind of Phantom 4 my father in law owns. I have tried to find some way to identify which on with no success.  Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

The simplest way ... look under the controller and find the model number.
Come back and post that and I'll tell you what version of Phantom 4 you have.

What Phantom do I have. Model GL300 C. Serial 07DJE140C10205

You have a Phantom 4, Not a pro or Ver 2.  Just a Phantom 4.  That is what I found out when I ran your serial number through their serial number checker.

I have no idea ... but if you give the model number of the controller, perhaps I can work it out.

Which DJI phantom 4 do I have and why is it black. WM330A

One of my Phantoms has no control, or visible serial number. The Model number is330Z

P330Z.
