In addition to this thread regarding the Google Pixel 6, now the Google Pixel 6A has been released. It has similar specs and uses Android 12 as well.

Unfortunately the DJI Mimo app does not seem to work on the device, but maybe it's just related to any Android 12 issues the Pixel 6 is facing as well.

I would love to use the app on this device since I bought a Pocket 2 recently and my previous Android 11 phone died (hence the new phone), where it used to work fine before.

I'd like to know what information your app team requires from me to help debugging the crashes. I currently:

• use Android 12,
• use MIMO app version 1.7.24 (latest available),
• cannot see the crash report dialog in Android, not sure why.
  

Installation seems to succeed, but opening results in crashing the app instantly. Force stopping and/clearing the data does not seem to resolve the crashes. Reinstalled the app three times as well, but still crashes. I'm not sure whether it's Android API related or something else.

The DJI MIMO v1.7.26-beta seems to fix it for me! Did some basic tests, but the app seems to work as expected now, finally!

It quotes Wanda (click there to expand) with the link + password I used. At some point they may revoke it though, but I'm sure by then the stable version of that MIMO version should be released on their website.

djiuser_dennis, if I understand your posts correctly, you are able to fly and control the Mini 2 using your Pixel 6a. Can you confirm that? I'm holding off purchasing the Mini 2 for fear that it won't be compatible with the 6a. Thx.

The threads list tested compatible and non-compatible devices for the Pocket 2, and also include troubleshooting tips for activation/connection/remote control problems.

Also, you can contribute to the lists yourself: if you happen to have a device that has not been mentioned on the lists and happen to test it with the Pocket 2, you can reply to the threads to report your results. Any tests results reported would be highly appreciated. Also, if you happen to see erratic information, you may also reply to correct said errors.

When I just had my Pixel 6a late summer, Android 12 was not supported yet. The current MIMO app even seems to support Android 13 as well on my 6a:

I do NOT have a drone, just a DJI camera. That seems to work fine on the Pixel 6a with Android 13 and MIMO v1.8.8.

No news for mavic 2 pixel 6a.. very bad from dji
