Very remarkable shot DA.    Lots and lots of details in that top down shot.  I just have to ask if you know what that object is in the upper left quadrant of the frame.  Appears to be a covered swimming pool but then again not sure unless the cover has leaves all over it.

May not be in a sanitary condition for use at this time.  From memories of maintaining a pool it is quite the endeavor to keep the chemicals leveled, especially if it rains a lot.

I have two neighbours with pools and they are both disgusting,   one Im sure at one point had some life in it,  fish or eels probably.

Most pool owners here hire a pool service to clean the pool and ensure the chemicals remain balanced.  If not treated properly I've seen them turn green from algae growth almost overnight.

That service exists here but you rarely see a van round these parts.

I've heard that if the cleaning company provides the chemicals in addition to the cleaning, etc it can be quite costly.

Chlorine certainly isn't the cheapest but if you shop around here there are deals to be had.

Since I no longer have a pool I haven't kept up on pool chemical prices but several used to be expensive.  When you add up the cost for Cyanuric Acid, Calcium Hardness, Oxidizers, pH Increaser & Decreaser, Algaecides, Clarifiers & Flocculants it can get a bit costly.  Glad I don't have a pool anymore.

Compared to the heating bill thats the cheap bit,  but I guess out there you dont need to heat them like we do.

Then you would definitely not like the 90 degree water in mid summer.  Pool is more like a sauna than a pool at that temperature.

No that seems a bit hot for a pool.  Hot tub maybe OK.

I always fail to get the temperature right on mine,   either too hot or too cold.   but thats partly the weathers fault.

My old land neighbor had a large hot tub and in the winter you could see the steam rising from the water.  He would be in there drinking cold beer and not worrying about boiling like a lobster.  He was quite the character.

Shes back at work but unlike usual shes working from home the rest of the week due to an AC outage in the building,   I really can't get a break.
