I have made a mere 75 flights but thinking of replacing the props of my mini 2.
This because they show some wear.
I did see DJI's instruction video.
They instruct you to remove thread locker using the old screws.
Though that seems fine to me, it seems that no new thread locker is applied.
Isn't that needed?
You should get a packet of new screws which has it on. Agree its a waste using these if the heads are still perfect. You will need to buy threadlock if you wish to use existing screws and don't want them vibrating out.
Some people report the screwdriver does not quite fit and can cause the heads to become chewed up.
If you have nicks in a blade then you need to change in pairs and not one blade only.
Your replacement screws should already have thread locker on them.
When out in the field I had one spare set of props with 2 replacement screws. Unfortunately, I dropped the 2nd new screw as I was preparing to put it in. No way could I locate it. I finally gave up and walked a hundred yards or so back to the car and used a little of the loctite blue that I keep in the car trunk for emergencies and used the old screw with the new prop. Never had an issue with it. At least I know I can take the screw out when another prop change is needed.
Hello there Hannibal_. Thank you for reaching out and for giving out these information. Just a reminder that if you are going to change the propellers of the DJI Mini 2. It would be best to use the new screws to mount them back to the DJI Drone. Thank you.

Aha…
I never checked out the new screws that well.
Thanks!
Replacing both blades always would have been my guess, indeed.
They are probably balanced in pairs?
