Not intentionally, no, I was at the river bank, I turned in my seat so as to locate some line to tie off and my center of gravity moved a tad and erm, one got a tad damp lol

Not a bit practical at all.  Just another way to overheat the Mini 3.

      Hadn't thought of that.  

obviously the intent is to use the drone's camera (like active track or selfie portrait) without actually flying the drone. maybe indoors?  not a lot of people bring two cameras with them, maybe just the drone only.  same microsd card for storage.  what happens when you run out of battery?  or it's a good way to use the last 5 minutes of each battery.  i once went on a short trip with drone only and missed a lot of photos and video because i simply didn't feel like launching the drone two dozens times that day at every stop; yeah i know, should have had a camera.  agreed, it's a stupid accessory esp for the mini3pro.

Ok here's another one.  Although, I would probably buy to use for transferring data only I would never dream of flying with it attached.
