Round balers. John Deere do one, but the ones I saw in France were D'Holland.

Nice capture DA.    Short a couple of more bales and you would have had a smiley face.

Ah, that'll be the machine to carry the bales once they've been formed, I expect?
The farmer's in France have a forklift-like attachment for the front of their tractors, with a long spike on it which pierces the centre of the bale to load it. Or a standard double fork for the shrink-wrapped ones.

Yes they have those, or a similar attachment for a standard farm tractor.
