DJI cannot know if the drone will be used by someone who requires registration or rid. To code two different firmwares is not feasible. By U.S. law, the rid cannot be bypassed or disabled.

However, they can enable FCC or CE mode depending on the geography where it is used.... so they must be able to enable RID in countries where it is legally required only.

When I connected to DJI assistant to check for more updates, and it kept  prompting me to upgrade to a later version, but it fails after downloading. I phoned support and they said that file was “Flysafe”. Is anyone else seeing this anomaly?

Mini3 Pro has vignetting issues and colour shift when using DNGs natively, and manufacturers lens correction profile is not embedded in the DNGs.
This makes stitching 360 spheres from DNGs nearly impossible.
Please fix this

Make sure and update all your batteries as well.

I also updated all three of my batteries and now the drone LED's blink red indicating low battery.  
They are at 60% minimum, and the controller confirms this.  Any suggestions?

Today the first flight after the update and am not really happy. Upside down drone doesn't stop the motors anymore, the drone drifts a bit and panos get worse stiched. And that with windless weather.

My mini 3 arrives tomorrow I can’t wait to get it up to date and in the air!!

May we know if your problem is resolved now?
If not, could you please check the following details and keep us updated?
1. Ensure that the aircraft mode is normal, i.e., the GPS signal is strong and the aircraft is in non-ATTI mode.
2. Check whether the device drift or unsteady hovering is within the hovering accuracy range.
3. Please move to another flight environment to test.
4. Check the propellers and the state of the motors. Check whether any motor rotates abnormally when the propellers are not mounted.
5. Confirm that there is no magnetic interference. It is recommended to place the aircraft on level ground for IMU calibration and compass calibration.
6. Check whether the control stick is being pushed. If the stick movement is offset, the remote controller should be calibrated.

I really don't understand where this standard talk could serve any solution to my complaint. except that this might fix the drifting. Unfortunately, things just got worse with panos stitching and the drone no longer stops when you flip it over. So I want you to give me the option to downgrade.

Haven't flown my Mini 3 Pro since it updated to run Remote ID, I have zero interest in it anymore. Probably sell it and buy a new F1 Wheel for my racing sim.
