fw update is for the dron only (less than 300mb). The normal rc is updated already. May be the rc pro has a new update.

the RC is on 300 update.  Assuming DJI Fly update to 1.6.12 for phone devices only at present as the RC still seems to be 1.6.9

DJI Fly updated on my android phone.  It did some file storage location optimisation for a while (migrating data).  That's probably the way it works with recordings etc on newer android phones that other users have been having issues with

It was fixed also the BUG that does not allow POI when you load a certificate from DJI?
I have promises from HUNTER from DJI from 3 months ago that will be fixed...
At this point no POI can work if you are in a restricted zone but you have clearance and DJI certificate for NFZ loaded....

And now all my DJI media is in a random order as the files have been redated 17th August.  Where they were all grouped by taken date in android gallery and related flights were together they are now not.

Mr DJI can you find out what this actually did to the media too?

I'm not sure if updating the FW or the App caused the problem. But I noticed too late that Photo mode had reset back to JPGs only.
So check your settings before taking any photos.

About 10 to 15 mins into a flight, the App just shut down on me. Luckily I didn't crash.
I'm using the RC-N1 controller with a Samsung S21 (latest software updates etc). I've not had a App closure before.

Make sure and update all your batteries as well.

ALL make sure you update all shooting settings after upgrading the firmware. For some stupid reason they are set to defaults!!!

Put each of your batteries in the drone, and check the remote for firmware update. It will sense which battery needs and update, and will update it the same way the drone gets updated, but usually much quicker.

Every time drone power on with a non-updated battery, Fly App will prompt you to update the firmware

Or you can use DJI Assistant 2, it will report incompatible modules and offer to update

I have a similar setup with the N1 + S20

After updating, DJI Assistant 2 no longer offers any downgrade options.

I don't know. After the app crash, I flew for another 15 minutes without any problems, then went home.
I won't be flying again until Friday at the earliest.

Will I have to update all my 4 batteries at all? Read on a FB post you do but I am not sure that is right.

Yes, this update also requires each battery to be updated, I had to update my
second and third battery. Just put the next battery in switch all on and do a check firmware, it will then prompt to update. Do the same for each battery.

Remember to go through all your batteries and update!

only took a few months to update :-)

So, just for the sake of clarification:
The Remote Controller firmware is updated to v01.01.0300, but the Fly App version remains 1.6.9 .
Can you confirm that?

It's impossible to have an Aperture Priority mode on a camera that has a fixed Aperture. DJI Mini 3 Pro is always at 1.7 aperture and can't be changed - so how can you make it Aperture Priority?

Ok, I can't win on this forum about the naming of this function.

Aperture priority on a camera means that the shutter speed can vary to adapt to different scenes. Yes, I know that this drone has a fixed Aperture and therefore in Av mode it will just have to stay fixed and then the shutter speed adapt, as it should.

If I call it Auto shutter mode, people seem to misunderstand and if I call it aperture priority, people lose their minds over the fact that there's not an adjustable aperture.

The Air 2s has this mode and has a fixed aperture. See below.

Ok - ( i am a professional photographer - master level) - what you are showing in that photo - and I assume asking for is something that I too would very much like - and that is Iso Priority.

The only things that you can change on the drone are the Shutter Speed or the Iso - and when you leave the drone in Auto mode it is changing a combination of those two things to create the perfect picture - however it's really annoying when you want to keep the Iso at 100 - and have the shutter adjust accordingly for the changing light levels - so this would be called an Iso Priority mode - and I would like it too please.
