DJI cannot know if the drone will be used by someone who requires registration or rid. To code two different firmwares is not feasible. By U.S. law, the rid cannot be bypassed or disabled.

However, they can enable FCC or CE mode depending on the geography where it is used.... so they must be able to enable RID in countries where it is legally required only.

When I connected to DJI assistant to check for more updates, and it kept  prompting me to upgrade to a later version, but it fails after downloading. I phoned support and they said that file was “Flysafe”. Is anyone else seeing this anomaly?

Mini3 Pro has vignetting issues and colour shift when using DNGs natively, and manufacturers lens correction profile is not embedded in the DNGs.
This makes stitching 360 spheres from DNGs nearly impossible.
Please fix this

Make sure and update all your batteries as well.

I also updated all three of my batteries and now the drone LED's blink red indicating low battery.  
They are at 60% minimum, and the controller confirms this.  Any suggestions?

Today the first flight after the update and am not really happy. Upside down drone doesn't stop the motors anymore, the drone drifts a bit and panos get worse stiched. And that with windless weather.

My mini 3 arrives tomorrow I can’t wait to get it up to date and in the air!!

May we know if your problem is resolved now?
If not, could you please check the following details and keep us updated?
1. Ensure that the aircraft mode is normal, i.e., the GPS signal is strong and the aircraft is in non-ATTI mode.
2. Check whether the device drift or unsteady hovering is within the hovering accuracy range.
3. Please move to another flight environment to test.
4. Check the propellers and the state of the motors. Check whether any motor rotates abnormally when the propellers are not mounted.
5. Confirm that there is no magnetic interference. It is recommended to place the aircraft on level ground for IMU calibration and compass calibration.
6. Check whether the control stick is being pushed. If the stick movement is offset, the remote controller should be calibrated.

I really don't understand where this standard talk could serve any solution to my complaint. except that this might fix the drifting. Unfortunately, things just got worse with panos stitching and the drone no longer stops when you flip it over. So I want you to give me the option to downgrade.

Haven't flown my Mini 3 Pro since it updated to run Remote ID, I have zero interest in it anymore. Probably sell it and buy a new F1 Wheel for my racing sim.

This should have been fixed by now, can anyone confirm that last few firmware solved this or not?

There are no problems in Adobe Lightroom, the profile is embedded in the file.

WTF. Cant use the new update after installing it, Gain and Edpo still the old Menu. Fly App on RC Controller still is on 1.9.4 and im not able to update the App on the Controller to 1.9.8

Same here.
Strange that some people appear to have received the new RC update.
Updated DJI Assistant and that also shows no newer version.
Pointless M3P update for anyone using the RC controller.

Same issue here also, no firmware update available for the RC. Got the M3P updated but not able to use the change due to stuck on 1.9.4 of the fly app. Tried Assistant 2 also to no result

dji released a dud again, which can't be uploaded

perhaps we have to wait a bit

Looking for some help here. I was able to update my mini-3-pro to the latest 01.00.0500 firmware that just came out without issue. However my RC-Pro is only showing firmware version 01.02.0400 and I know there is a 01.02.500 version. Also my DJI fly app says version 1.9.4 and there is a 1.9.8 version out.
So how can I update these - I’ve clicked check for updates and the RC says “Your firmware is up to date”. In addition the recent firmware upgrade for the mini-3-pro was supposed to add the ability to factory reset the RC-Pro or Erase all Data on the RC. Those options are not available to me after the upgrade - so something isn’t upgrading fully.

Same here aircraft updates firmware but rc stoll on 1.94. Also the green led on the controller doesn't light up when connected to the drone.

Why is DJI RC Remote Controller Firmware: v01.02.0500 not available as an update? Still says 1.02.04 is the latest. I have upgraded the firmware for the drone but cannot use the new features as my RC app is not the latest. I am in Australia.

The new features are not installed on the RC controller with firmware 1.00.0500 update download via wifi. Should I try again using DJI Assistant 2.

I have updated firmware to latest yet in the correct area of RC  it does not show vertical and horizontal speed  to allow me to reduce speed in cine mode

thank you dji for this update now v01.02.600 is on my rc and that run very well!

Updated the mini 3 pro FW yesterday and now my drone can't focus when in flight mode.  On the previous FW, everything was fine. Here is two videos with broken and normal focus


BTW manual focus works fine and I can focus with the peaking, but not in AF.
Maybe anybody else faced such an issue?

Updated my mini 3 pro and after my first hyperlapse flight I was in a circle and noticed that my signal wasn’t dropping.  It’s like it was before the last updates in November.  Solid 30 satellites and full bars at 2,000 ft.  Usually I’d have to turn back but this kept going so long and solid I almost ran outta battery getting home. I’m happy with this!!

Hello, I cannot update to the latest version as all updates are blocked on my RC with the error: "Server error: Wait a moment and try again(Code:0x1151009fffff)" - I have logged out and back into my DJI profile, have rebooted the RC remote and Mini 3 Pro drone, and also waited 45 minutes, and the error happens every time I try to update via the Profile section or the Settings-About section of the RC UI. Please advise. Thank you.

The EV settings don’t have any effect on the controller’s video but after a hyperlapse the preview video shows the proper EV.   I thought the filter I had was too dark and turned up EV to 1.7 and started a lapse then stopped and looked at the short video. Clearly not what I’m seeing on my screen. The screen is really dark like stuck on EV 0. I couldn’t see this on the daytime but night time is obvious.

Sure would be nice if DJI would give the Mini 3 Pro a flight planner like.... idk..... WAYPOINTS?

If I refer to it as ISO priority, I'm due a headache of replies and misunderstanding, but I'm glad we've agreed that this is a necessity.

Another confusing comment but you can set the iso to 100 and the shutter to "automatic" and you are fine. Or did I also misunderstand?

After the update I suddenly lost connection. And the drone went into ATTI mode. At night. Above the sea.
It didn't respond and drifted with the wind..
I switched off the DJI RC to initiate the RTH. Luckily that worked and it was only 80 meters away.  
Anyone able to assist me with this one?

I'm not sure that there is a relation between the latest update and your loss of signal...

Manual page 43 and 51, may help you...
