A jewel of the Amvrakiko gulf, the coastal town of Vonitsa bears the echo of another era that moves even today to different rhythms.
Low houses, narrow cobbled streets, children's voices in the neighborhoods, fishermen in their boats catching shrimps and silver fish in the harbor and all this in the "shadow" of the iconic Venetian castle that dominates the pine-covered hill above the city.

Great views Tasos. Love the ruins on the hilltop. Is that just a footbridge to the island, or is there vehicle access too?
Is just a footbridge to the island. Thank you so much for your feedback and your kind words, appreciated! Stay tuned and have a wonderful day!!
