Hello there imcoo. Thank you for reaching out and for these information that you have given. For us to be able to assist you with regards to this matter. Kindly please send an email to our DJI FlySafe Department at flysafe@dji.com for us to be able to help you further. Thank you.
As far as most googlers are aware, once firmware 4 or 5 has been installed, you cant reverse it, until further insights arise about DJI's encryption system. This would be the wrong forum to ask for it, anyway.
which is harder way, can you please give me some hint/clue/ video/resource. I would appreciate that. if it comes to removing chips and resoldering it back, i can do that.
I remember a guy on another forum, sent an email to Huawei, telling them they were breaking GNU GPL by keeping their modem software secret, so they sent him a copy.
It wont be long before Mini 2 firmware is liberated.

Indeed. The official DJI forum isn't going to provide information on DRONE-hacking their own products. And I don't think anyone has figured out a way to downgrade
some repair shops are doing it I dont know how they are doing it, so either i will go with repair shops which can downgrade OR buy autel NANO PLUS drone. this is ridiculous policy from DJI, I understand its law etc but it should be able to downgrade.
I'm not a supporter of this policy mostly because there is always a chance that a new firmware update will cause issues, and locking the ability to revert to the prior version means you need to wait for a fix (if it ever comes).
That said, DJI is hardly the only company with this policy... But some companies like Apple usually limit downgrading to a short window of time, after which you cannot downgrade. That seems like a reasonable compromise, because if you do encounter an issue at least you have the option to revert back, while still enforcing some measure of security from the company's perspective.
Lastly, while purchasing another company's product is an option, for better or worse DJI products tend to offer the best value for the money.

They might be using old refurbs, or second hand ones. One brute force method would be to copy the flash memory across.
I've been looking at the Autel Nano Plus, in youtubes, but the mini 2 is such a great drone, it's hard to beat. The nano has a great camera, but poor wind resistance. I just sent mini2 up into a windy night, and it was flying at a 40 degree angle.

yes, you are right about that, i heard that too that wind resistance on autel is not good.
This is why i will not update the Mini 2, i don't need the new firmware, it gave nothing of interest, it just caused problems for folk that require exceptions.
