I'll be in Northern CA from Aug-23-29, anyone want to meet up?  Mainly around San Jose/San Francisco/Pleasanton areas.    Looking for some amazing locations to fly and get some footage.
Will also be in Monterey from Aug 31-Sept 2.

We are in California for a race the same time your in the area sucks we wont be able to meet up...Figures as it would be too cool to meet you bud! BTW Ty for all your tips here on this forum it has help us all greatly.
If things change I will let yah know we will be in Sonoma area . Have fun bud you'll find so many places to shoot your gonna freak ride the pacific coast highway for sure.

Let me know if you ever come down to Los Angeles. Some interesting areas to fly in city beach areas. Not all are banned, yet.

You would be welcome to fly over our vineyard in Napa,I will also throw in a wine tasting after flying !!!! .We have 40 acres and at 200 feet you can see up and down the Valley . Juslynvineyards.com .I want the story on the monkey .

P.S. Monkey shot was taken in Indonesia.  It's a Hindu temple complex  home to hundreds of macaque monkeys.  Amazing place if you ever get the chance to go!

Just returned from SO Cal and the forest fires were kicking out a lot of smoke. It is the same here at home and have not been able to fly. But much worse!!

Going to be down there again but to far away from you.

The wild fires are bad due to the extreme drought that our west coast is experiencing. The smoke in the sky for over sixty miles here in Oregon. I am not talking about flying near the fire, just flying anywhere downwind is impossible. Its bad for your health too.

They will get the  fires in California under control before you arrive I'm sure.

Sorry Rich, I certainly didn't mean to imply YOU would be tempted to fly near the fires, just how drone pilots are hampering fire fighter efforts in general.   I know you would never do something like that.
