You're very welcome DA.    Sounds like you have quite the adventure planned for the day.  Rain and  more rain here.  Everything is getting greener and for sure no drought here.  West coast of US is still hurting badly for rain.

Glorious here yesterday,   forecast last night had no rain for 10 days but this morning its raining.  FINALLY.

Sadly I hadnt planned very well,  I was just about to leave when I saw a post in instagram showing that the boat was going to be local to the eye test, so I grabbed the Mavic 2 Pro as thats my prefered drone for flying out to sea with. but I only had two of the three batteries charged and I would have liked that third battery.

Pretty mixed here. Dawn patrol was with the Pocket2 this morning - drones resting until the weather improves.

Yeah, with all your drones you would have to pre-plan which one you are going to fly and charge up all the batteries.  I think I'd be hard pressed to remember the differences between the Go 4 App and the Fly App when switching back and forth.  However, with the Mini 3 and the extended batteryyou can get in quite the flying time.

When flying out long distance over water especially in strong winds the Mavic 2 is my go to drone.   It has a lot more power to battle through them than the mini 3 and I can always pop across to sports mode for a bit more go go too. But I am rusty with the go4 app that’s for sure.

Can't win 'em all

Went down this morning and a couple of boats were drifting in the tide which won't peak until 1pm,   they will certainly have a slow ride in.

Supposed to be 29c here today with a little cloud until 5pm,  so far no rain but I did see a rainbow,   but the drone couldn't see the rainbow.    go figure that one.

I only used the Go 4 App for a short time before the M2P went down while awaiting a part and then got stolen.  I'm sure you remember that episode.  Anyway, I just remember that the 2 Apps are very different but the Go  App had so many more nice functions.  Easy to see how you can get rusty if not using it regularly.  Seems the Mini 3 is your go to drone at this point while M2P awaits its turn.
