1) Browse to Personal Homepage of your friend.
2) Move mouse over Avator-picture (Top left)
3) + Add Friend.
4) Wait until friend accept your invitation
5) I guess to PM that friend will be your next issue.
    If so, i will give you 6) 7) 8)...

Well that isn't working for me. Hovering does nothing, no popup, nada. Tried Firefox and Safari thinking it was a browser issue.

What browser are you using ?

Imo there is a bug here, but not sure. I need to test this more.
I think because of your user group (Hobbyist) not allowing to add friend or PM.

If so, i will report this to be solved asap.

Already made the tests with Safari on Ipad2 and all works fine.
I invited you as friend. Lets see if that works for you

That worked. I accepted.

Still can not get a popup on hover over the avatar though.

I just noticed that although I am online, I am showing as offline. Maybe the website never reports yourself as online though.

The on/offline is a different issue.

I only have you as a friend at the moment. I went to your home page in an attempt to send you a pm. When I hovered at the bottom of your picture, next to the camera icon, the word message popped up. I clicked on that and it opened a new window to the DJI forum page. forum.dji.com Totally unexpected.

If you are referring to the crest just below your avatar and above credits and user group, nothing happens.

I attempted to respond to your previous pm with the message above but when I hit enter nothing happens there either, hence having to respond here.

Someone just doesn't like me and doesn't want me to be friends with anybody I guess.

I am now showing online and was able to make a friend request to another member. Getting somewhere now.

I think I am seeing a pattern here. I was trying to add one of the DJI folks as a friend. It appears that is not possible.

But once the link to the pm is corrected and the ability to respond to one I will be good to go.

this forum is much like their app and firmware releases, very sub par, full of bugs and lacking many features.  I couldnt even post for about 2 months cause even though i was logged in every time i clicked a thread it would say i wasnt, but when i clicked log in it took my to my profile page where i was already logged in.  Very frustrating but they finally fixed it.  Also the opening a new tab every time i click a thread instead of just opening it like every other forum on the internet does was super annoying but that seems to be fixed as well.

There are definetely a few shortcomings. One of the things I would like to see is a local time stamp conversion.

DJI team is working on local stamp conversion. Have some patience here.

As for PM a friend, you can not by clicking "message" on the avator.

Watch this i made a while ago. This works. (Although not user friendly at the moment)
