Indeed!  Does anyone know if the Goggles 2 can connect to Goggles v2 in observer mode? ( or visa versa ?  eg/ Are the Goggles 2 at least compatible with Goggles v2 or DJI FPV? Can I set my Goggles v2 to broadcast from my DJI FPV or Air Unit, and have the Goggles 2 connect to that feed? )

The Air Unit is 3-year old technology.  If you want Legacy support get the V2 goggles, else move on & get the Goggles 2.

and seeying the problems with Goggles 2 (for the moment: bad optics and no antifog system) better stay with V2's till 2V2's appear.

I have:
2x Cadax units
2x DJ FPV Drones
2x DJI Goggles v2

And I just back-ordered Avata Pro-View unit that comes with the DJI Goggles 2.
If DJI can't support ONE previous generation of their own product.  I will cancel my order and sell all my DJI/DJI Compatible products and just go with FatShark.  and start a smear compaign how bad DJI are to their customers.

You guys need to the make the Goggles 2 backward compatible with the old AU/Caddax units AND the old DJI FPV Drone.

I can't believe that DJI can create such awesome goggles but forget to put a $2 fan in them for anit-fog LOL

I will buy the new goggles the first day they are compatible with current vistas and air units. I’m currently flying DJI on over 10 home built drones. I expect this hobby to be supported by DJI going forward

I totally agree, how weird that a company WITH MANY DIFFERENT AIRCRAFT release goggles but they only support one of their aircraft. Lets hope DJI wake up and make the goggles support more aircraft...SOON.

Trust me, once they clear most of the stock of V2 goggle, there will be the new firmware to make the goggle 2 compatible with the old version....

That is good news.   I just wish DJI would tell us roughly when this will happen.

Complete Avata kit with new Goggles and FPV controller sitting, waiting in my cart until the new goggles work with my current Air & CADDX units.

to be honest if they arent, why bother with them :/
I would love smaller size and nice screens, but if they only for fpv/avata - skip them, also in US v2 did get price reduction, which should follow on EU market too shortly

Same, as I already own 2 sets of the V2's. I use one for my traditional fpv kwads and 1 for the FPV Drone and the Avata. From what I have heard about the fit issues and the nose pinching, I won't be upgrading, or downgrading for the sake of OLED screens. Backwards compatible or not.

I am much more interested in a FIX for the goggles 2 bad design so I can use it

I lost my Avata and now I have just the goggles 2. I was sad to loose my drone on the El Paso mountains but the pain doubles every time I see the google that don’t work with my other drones. I can’t wait for this update either!

It's supposed to be compatible also with DJI FPV in the same firmware update

saw this leak as well, looks pretty promising! hopefully we hear more in the upcoming days/ weeks

Any updates ? I updated my goggles and it looks like they added the 03 unit support, but i want that DJI FPV compatibility come on man air / vista compatibility pls  

Would like to see them compatible with the Mavic 3 also. Too bad the Epson Glasses are not compatible either
