Last night my Pixel updated to Android 13 and now my Mini 2 is dead.  The DJI fly app attempts to launch, but then closes immediately.  This is the same issue I had with 1.6.9 and this was fixed by 1.6.12 installed from APK from a PM here.   


Is anyone else have Android 13 issues?

I installed 1.7.0 and was able to launch the app without it immediately closing.  We will test fly tomorrow.  Thanks for the help.

Flying was successful, with some initial disconnects and video corruption on the screen, and return to home while only 30 m away.  After a while it seemed to stabilize and I flew up to 1.5 km away without difficulty.  After landing, I examined the pictures taken while in this unstable state, and they all showed this same video corruption.  It was not only poor transmission to the cell screen during flight, but somehow the resulting pictures on the SD card showed same green dots on the black pavement, and purple blotches in the clouds that I saw while flying.  Pictures taken later during this flight seemed better and the flight completed at 10% battery without drama.

Additional flights today did not exhibit the same video corruption with DJI Fly 1.7.0 so I don't know what was going on.

Hello there! Is someone here successfully using their drone with a google pixel 6a together with android 13 and latest dji fly app 1.7.0? please let me know if you did encounter any problems or not.

I also have a 6a that has the DJI 1.7.0 fly app, and it seems to work, although the 4a does most of the flying duty.  If I have problems with the 6a, I'll post here.

Pixel 6a is still on Android 12.  I won't be in any rush to update given the DJI issues with 13 currently.

just incase you're interested, I upgraded my pixel 6a to android 13, and I use dji fly app installed via apk from dji.com (downloaded v 1.6.12) identifying itself as v 1.7.0 in app. So far I see no problems in flight or with taking pictures, it seems to work just fine with my mini 3.

I have google pixel 5, with Android 13, and I can't fly for weeks, I use the version 1.7.0
