Still it gives you an idea of what threshold the drone can handle and still do hyperlapses without wobbling.

Indeed.  I also think it might have worked better backwards.     I would have tried again today as a coach losd of people turned up but I was having issues with the Len’s fogging.    I wiped it off and tried again but it fogged up a second time, landed and wiped again but still had issues so gave up.  Luckily it’s on the outside,  I think it might have got a little damp from the rain yesterday.

It's not that bad - but the cloud shadow movement is a clue I guess.  Hardly a breath of wind here today.

Let's hope it was just the rain.  I've read where a few pilots had to send the Mini 3 back in as a seal on the camera had to be replaced but that was due to internal fogging if memory serves me right.

Mine fogged up on the outside and did just wipe off,   I found when I got home that the dji sleeve that it was in was a little damp and that seems like the cause,   Ive since dried that out and done a couple of flights and its been fine.

Lousy timing by me today. Set off in sunshine at 07h00 to climb Lantern Pike.
Got to the top and a cloud came over the brow of the hill and rained on me.  Droning cancelled
Walked down the other side of the hill in waterproofs to catch the bus home - and out came the sun again.

Thats just typical of the great British weather.  Is this in preperation for climbing Kinder?

Im planning a little 26 mile walk for Wednesday in the aim of getting my 50'000 step badge.   I had previously done 47,297 and didnt realise or I would have pushed on to get it then.

Would you mind not calling 26 miles a "Little walk"  it's rather disheartening

Looks like I;ll never catch you in the "steps" race either. The flown feet distance is out of reach already

But my 26 will be mostly flat,     it would be a different matter if a hill was involved.

About a third of today's trek was flat. Then steeply up, followed by almost as steep down the other side.

Im very out of practice with hills,  I really should do more.   SHM BO'd hates the down hill part and I dont understand why

Wow, that is superb news.  Glad to hear it was not internal fog.

This is the second instance of it happening in 100 days of flying it,  never had it with Mini2 or Mavic 2 so there must be a design in there thats more susceptible to it.

That would be considered a design flaw.  What is surprising is that it is not happening to more Mini 3s and in your case not happening more often.  Some kind of anomaly.

It is odd that Ive never had it on any other drone and yet a couple of times now with this one, and we've been having some good dry weather.

These ones were crafty,   some of them ran in front of me to cut off my path.
