Avata too loud or not too loud?

It’s a whoop, they’re all loud.

You should hear my Geprc Cinelog35 Preference, you wouldn’t be able to hear the Avata over it!  Can’t wait for my Avata to arrive even though I still love and will fly my more traditional FPV gear a lot!

cinewhoops are loud... but I wonder will we see aftermarket props with more blades (7, 9) etc - which will block sd slot but ussualy they do lower dB and also pitch of noise drone makes
it shouldn't be a problem for motors - as in vids where it carry a gopro they were not going hot. so smaller load in form of more blades shouldnt be a problem. maybe some pidtuning will be  required.

All fpv drones are this loud in comparison to normal dji drones.

The Small Cinelog is a quiet one but anything mostly over 30 are mostly screamers. The iFlight Bumblebee....You could hear it half a mile away and cats would run for cover.

I can't believe that DJI can create such awesome goggles but forget to put a $2 fan in them for anit-fog LOL

Too much noise, the only flaw of this excellent drone, it would be ideal to have quieter even if less performing propellers, to be able to shoot without deafening the people in the video. DJI really hope you make these props.

I have the Air S2, Mini 3, FVP and now Avata. The Avata is the loudest of them all. Definitely "screams like a pig" as mentioned previously.

perhaps master airscrew will come to the rescue

The Avata is not loud, its a feature. It is an Early Warning Device, it tells all the Karen's to get out of the way.

Avata is like a Cinewhoop from 2 years ago..  Exact crap performance and sound as GepRC CineGo or Cloud 149 from 2 years ago.

Incomparable with modern cinewhoops like CInelog25.  And I think this is major flaw with the Avata. I had already people complaining on my second flight in the park with the Avata. When I have been flying Cinelog25 for over a year without a single complaint in the city. Plus legal reasons, drones under and over 250g.

You should hear my Iflight Protek 35 scream, its no louder than any other Cinewhoop on the market

I do not think DJI should take the iFlight trash as an example when designing products.

I agree though my comment was based purely on how loud the iFlight cinewhoop is not on build quality

I've got louder whoops. Haha. I don't think it's too bad.

I'm pretty surprised how quiet it really is. I was expecting far worse!

Sure, and it flies for like 5-6 minutes? And it won’t return to home if you fail safe or your battery is too weak. Always pros and cons. I own both DJI Avata and Cinelog 25/35.

Avata is an almost perfect Cinewhoop device, if there is a way to make it more silent sure DJI will do. But till that time this is the best Cinewhoop i believe.

There are advantages on the Avata, especially the video quality and ability just to pause, to hover in place waiting for everyone to get in to position and start the chase..

You can add a GPS to a cinelog but there is no point. Cinewhoops are for flying close range and hitting gaps, flying in forest or under the roof. I had to disable return to home many times on the Avata when flying in forest shooting MTB race or just flying with roof and trees above.. as Avata is so stupid and will crash into a tree just because it's low on battery and will start to ascend with no sensors above or in front.

And at the same time it's way to slow and with way to small of a battery to fly on any long distance.

If you are flying it indoors it's too loud because all drones are too loud indoors. Not much that can be done about that.

If you are flying outdoors then once you are in the air and away a bit then it's not too loud. The first few times you get some distance, you start to think that maybe it's not loud enough.

Seconded there. Flew with abuddy the other weekend and my Avata is quieter than the CL. It's quieter than a lot of traditional cinewhoops out there and I've flown a few.

Helicopers are also loud, but for what he is doing it;s perfect.
You want power you have to get used with the noise

more and more ppl vote its not too loud, they give used to it
