Seeing the DJI Goggles 2, introduced with the new DJI Avata, makes me wonder if they will ever be compatible with the Mini 3 Pro sometime in the future.  That would be a nice Christmas present from DJI, if they were to make them compatible!  I've never flown with goggles, but it looks more appealing to me all the time.  I think I would love the experience of goggle FPV flying my Mini 3 Pro.  What's your thoughts?  Would you be interested, if they were compatible?

Hello there K9JDN. Good day and thank you for reaching out. As of this time the DJI Goggles 2 ( https://store.dji.com/no/product/dji-fpv-goggles-v2 ) can only be used with DJI Avata from the date of product release. Please stay tuned to DJI’s official website for the new information on the goggles’ compatibility. Thank you.

Doesn't the M3P have an FPV mode?  I would definitely buy the Goggles 2 + extra batteries.  Maybe later on the Avata too.

you realize the goggles 2 will run about $600, right?
so let me see if i understand this, put the goggles on, turn on teh remote/phone or rc or rcpro, connect them both the mini 3 pro....then fly; correct?

They normally connect to the RC not the drone itself. Well, that's how the original ones worked and they would STILL work if DJI had included HDMI out, they could have made good product great right from the get go and would have made more sales too cause there's a lot of DJI Goggles just sat on pilots shelf acting like paper weights.

BTW, the original goggles were about £500 GDP new i think so folks will deffo pay...

But please consider:

There are two different bundles with the Avata!
Either with the Goggles 2 or with the FPV Goggles V2...

Googles 2 is connected to the aircraft as well, if you see the screen in the Goggles 2 you have 2 levels that shown... and most often you loose signal of the Goggles before the RC !

Definitely hoping for the same.  From what I am picking up online, it is expected that the Goggles 2 will support the Avata, Mavic 3, & Mini 3 Pro.  I would expect the Air 2S might make that list also being as it is an O3 bird.  From DJI's perspective, they should want to make the new goggles compatible with as many birds as possible to increase sales.  If they made it compatible with all birds running any version of Occusync that's a Hell of a lot of potential Goggle 2 sales.  A lot of Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 2.0, & Mini 2 birds out here.

Yes, yes, yes! DJI, please make it happen! Mini 3 Pro has Occusync 3 (O3) as well so it seems like it’s a matter of making the right decision here…

I own the original Goggles, which unfortunately only work with my original Magic Pro and my Spark… and since I just got a Mini 3 Pro, and since I do like my drones with obstacle sensing (my only non-DJI drone being a Skydio 2…), I don’t think I’m getting an Avata, even though it does seem like a great drone… (at least not until DJI releases an Avata 2 with obstacle sensing!)

But I would *love* to get those spiffy new goggles to fly with my Mini 3!

If you look over in the Avata there are a lot of issues with the DJI Goggles 2

where is there ? they do many firmware update, issue is when you are 200m in UE and come more quickly when behind objects, even trees... but have a look at this video and tell me what is wrong (maybe the price as always)...

I agree, very hopeful for M3P<->Goggles 2.

In regards to needing sensing for the Avata, that little drone is tough!  I've had two rough flights that would have trashed my original Air.  First was a flight right into a tree, trimmed off a few leaves almost 20 feet above ground, camera  showed a 90 degree anomaly that the Avata quickly corrected and the flight continued.

Second was even worse, dreaming I could launch from hand, I held a the drone from a tab, attitude over compensated to 90 degree, motors shut down and it hit pavement from 4 feet and bounced.  No damage and flew, when correctly taken off from flat ground, just fine.

Yes, it would be friggin awesome if DJI would make the goggles 2 compatible with the mini 3 pro. I luckily have both drones and the goggles 2 are FANTASTIC don't read the crap, they are great. Please, DJI if you are reading this make the goggles 2 compatible with the mini 3 pro.

I am waiting for the Goggles 2 or even the Goggles V2 to be compatible with mini 3 pro. The Avata seems like fun but it is a) incredibly noisy, b) has half the flight time, and c) comes with an unusual controller. Please DJI make the Goggles 2 work with any drone that does not sound like a screaming pig in heat!

The Avata is loud but a ton of fun to fly. I thought i would hate the motion controller but it's pretty neat and easy ti control.

I personally wait for support of  FPV Goggles V2 from mini 3 pro, cause I want to use it as second drone where DJI Avata is too loud - like all birds fly away from Avata instantly, all people turn heads =) Sometime it is not what I want.
Same time I see even very small obstacles in Goggles - like cords, air electric lines, branches, that I can't see using control with a screen.

I would love it, if my DJI mini three pro was compatible with goggles 2. Do you think this will ever happen?

I'm currently on the fence about getting the goggles 2 for my fpv rigs and if they made them compatible with the mini 3 pro I would pull the trigger.
