Hello all,

Since yesterday my mini 2 started acting very strangely. The controller completely loses connection to the drone whenever I end a recording after 1st flight  powering up.

These are as close as 7M which is ridiculous. I’ve got a line of sight. Ac and controller are on latest firmware and I’m using an iPhone 11. Could this be an issues with the recording button/trigger? I’ve got the smart controller not the one with the inbuilt lcd. Or could this be a faulty cable to the phone? It’s very strange because it only occurs on the first time I end a recording after powering up.

Attached some screenshots of the flight records. As you can see rc signal is full and enough satellite connections.

Try flying with another MicroSD card installed.   I know it sounds strange, but memory cards can impart all sorts of odd behaviors on these drones.

Hi thanks for your reply. I’m using a SanDisk Extreme MicroSDXC 128GB - U3 V30 A2 - 160MB/s which is recommended as far as I know. I’ve got about 15gb left on it. What’s weird is I recently deleted some of its files trough an iOS adapter/ipad to make more space, however within the dji app it doesn’t recognised this at all even tho the files are gone when reading the card externally. Could this be connected?

If it like the Mac when you delete its just moved to a trash can and that needs to be emptied for the files to actually be removed.  May be best to let the drone format the card.

That seemed to work for the storage issue thanks. I’ll report back if this actually fixed the dc issue when recording

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. It is good to know that after following the steps given above by DAFlys on post #4 the fix seemed to work. Kindly please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

Tested it out today seemed to have worked. Find it weird though cus I still had 15gb of storage left of the sd card
