Susan, I can’t get the DJI fly account to connect to the mini three on my iPad Pro via the USB C cable..

I can only connect using the DJI assistant via my laptop..

Any advice?

Please disregard, I just figured out that I can do it on the newer controller and it looks like it's updating..

I've submitted request to support and waiting for next step.  Is the only way to apply newest fix to "no fly issue" only through the app?

I have rc controller that will not allow network connectivity and only have dji assistant2 for updates.

I've done everything I know to find a password that would work to make wifi from RC controller to my phone hotspot and nothing works.

Glad others are getting theirs to work!

Been flying DJI drones since 2014.  Thirteen of them in all.  Nary a problem.  Still have my first one.  Going to mail you some tin foil.

You've enjoyed what I have just got a taste of for the first time now that I'm loosing my sight. Just wanted to see what the experience is like.  My younger brother has been droning for many years as well.  These days it's all different though.  There is agendas most have no clue of.  Thanks for the foil offer, sounds good.  Anything that helps makes it better.

Thanks for the posting.  My phone wifi see's my drone and ask for a password to allow connection that fails.   I've tried my DJI account password, the hotspot password, even changing the DJI account password and trying a new one that allows me to use this forum and use DJI assistant 2 that gave me the update that grounded me.  I just have no idea what password it wants for the drone to allow wifi connectivity so that the RC controller can do the updates or access the RC controller area that has a forum in the menu.

I'm guessing when DJI support post the fix to some in their account  it is to the DJ Fly app forum account either on their smart phone app or the RC controller app preloaded on the controller. The DJI assistant 2 app on the pc does not have anything other than the current update that is giving so many problems.  It's strange that the new DJI Assistant 2 designated for the DJI Mini pro 3 specifically that is a new roll out that has bugs when loaded on PC for updates.  That may be why tech support is not steering us to that as a remedy as well as the update is likely for reported problem cases.

Looked everywhere on my IP8 settings on phone for maxing compatibility and nothing could be found sorry and thanks.
