who has made a winch for the M600, controlled via the A3 and would be happy to point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Hi, I did this a few years ago with a NAZA-M or an A2 I don't remember. I used the reserved channel for a third party gimbal and a ship model winch servomotor.

The use via the flight controller was too restrictive due to having to keep the drone stable and maneuver the winch at the same time. I had therefore opted for a remote control by a second operator.

Thanks so much. I am totally with you in regard to the second controller. I also fly the Ronin MX so that's a similar set up. I do not know how to "connect" the winch controller to the second ground controller but we need the range of the native system. So far I have seen winches with their own transmission + controller and their range is limited.

Thanks and I'll make myself known over here again when I have tips / experience!

You can just use a model radio control
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turn ... _products_analytics
Puts the servo on an axis of the joysticks which remain in the center, by programming an exponential which gives a neutral / dead zone in the middle.
Alternatively, you can try with this:

I tried both, both work. As for radio range, I don't know. I would say that the radio control has 1km without problem. the box in 433MHz much less I think. I have always used them on sight.

I can understand that you need information on how to make an M600 winch. I would prefer a "https://winchinsider.com" site for winch information.it is not discusion or threads but  Which will be very beneficial for you.I hope are you get must information .thanks buddy

If you want to buy it then I agree with you because I bought it three months ago and it is very useful for me if you want to buy it then you can buy it.
