I own a DJI Mavic Air (1).
Still flying happily and realy no reason to change the marvelous bird.
- I have one dead battery, still two good batteries remaining
- 3it has 310 flights done, a total of 160 km travelled, a total 29 hrs flight time
- no crashes

So, I put it "for sale", in case a potential buyer shows up for it...

With the new CE rules I was considering bying a DJI mini 3 pro:
- 250 gr allowed to fly in A1 in 2023
- not so noisy propellers
- new RC controller
- better camera
- better fligt time

Now with the announcement of the DJI Avata I am bewildered about:
- the DJI motion controlller
- the DJI goggles 2
- this makes true flying as a bird
- good camera, horizon levelling - rock steady, ...
- head movement follow
- low height flying
- indoor flying
- sturdy build (crash)
- protected propellers
- sad point is the high pitch noice

I don't fancy acrobatic tricks
Flying and steady filming, low speed flying is my thing

Ideal would be a DJI mini 3 pro + DJI motion controller + DJI goggles 2

- Propably keeping the Mavic Air and buying the Avata -

They are 2 different drones right.
FPV have different rules (at least here in NL quite strict) and less aimed at 'smooth and cinematic'.

Sorry, no, ideal would be a stock Mini 3 for your requirements, because the Avata will no longer be allowed to fly in A1 from 2024 on (it will be forced to A3, I fear) and flying with Goggles always requires a spotter for VLOS. And you‘ll need the A1/A3 licence for the Avata, already today. The Mini 3 requires no pilot licence, not now and not in 2024, when the interims regulations are over.

Furthermore I doubt Goggles will currently work with the M3P.

Check, what I answered in the Mini 3 forum. The ideal drone for your requirements is a stock Mini 3.
