Agreed,  that design is terrible,  good job Ive decided against getting one,  especially after seeing how poor the range is.

There's been leaks of it for ages now,  so maybe the engineers are just not getting the time on it as they push too many new products all the time.

Maybe software engineers is DJI's weakest link.  I noticed with SDKs they are not concentrating only on the commercial aspect of the business, at least for now anyway.

I always assumed the SDK wasnt generating sales like it did originally,   when they first started out their main customers already had custom built or kit built drones and the SDK was a good way to tempt them in without the feeling they would be completely locked out of tinkering,  these days people just want to buy a flying camera that works.

Yeah absolutely.  In the commercial space they will sell significantly more units.

I just saw on YouTube that b3yond fpv have a file you must on the SD card and it fixes the range issue,  but the spotter is still a big issue.

Some kind of hack you have to start every time that puts it in  FCC mode?

No,  just a text file with a specific name that you put on the sd card in the goggles to set the parameter.
