I’m interested in getting the Avata as my introduction into drones and FPV, however I’m concerned by the low range in CE territories (2km max) compared to the FCC (10km max) and how that will affect the experience, especially when flying further out with obstacles. Would it significantly hamper the flying experience?

It’s an expensive drone, would be a shame to lose out on so much of its capabilities using it in the UK.

I got this,..

Unfortunately in CE mode the useful distance is around 300m, beyond this distance the video signal problems begin. I'm sorry but in Europe we are in very bad shape with the allowed signal strength.
