The propeller screw was stripped while using the included screwdriver, Tried to fix it and ended up breaking the head of the screw now left with it stuck in the screw socket.
Any ideas on how to remove this, or am I going to have to ship to get it fixed?

you have to drill it with very tiny drill, im not sure how hard the screws are but looks like hard ones, please wear protective glasses if you want to try this on your own, the drill can be easily broken, you have to be patient,
The best option for you is to contact support / servcie and they will replace all arm probably about 50$ cost

This is another reason we need quick release props on the Mini 3 Pro.  The screwdriver that is supposed to come with the Mini 3 is substandard.  Mine did not come with one but a friend showed me his and it's cheaply made, which is also why I use the wowstick 1F+.

That would absolutely great.      Probably didn't use quick release props as their use would put Mini 3 over the 249G mark.

You've got me curious now.  I need to weigh the props for the mini 3 and compare that to the weight of the props for the Air 2S with the quick release props.  I know they are different sizes but I think the connecting part of the props  and also on the motor could be added weight.  Thenn again, I could be totally wrong.

Don't forget the Mini3 also weighs less than 249g,  usually 245g I understand.

Out of curiosity I weighed mine and it weighed 246g.  So they did have a little wiggle room left under the 249g mark.

I guess they also need some "wiggle" room for manufacturing deviations too.

I believe that the Mini 3 is actually about 247 or 248g, that's why i said about the removable props would make it weigh more as it would need to add the base for each prop.

Have you had any luck with those?  I had a set and they didnt work on regular screws so I ended up binning it.

I am sure all the videos i saw that it varied from about 247 to 247g which little to no room, this is the 1st one I've seen this low. As to why they all vary, has to be the scales and i wouldnt put my life on luggage scales accuracy either I have a set of micro scales, I haven't weight it  as folks already have but i will have a look, although, they came from amazon or ebay and prob far from accurate lol

DowntownRDB weighed his at 246 grams.  The 245g picture was DroneXl.

As i suspected, my scales said 221g lol I just spent 10 minutes trying to calibrate them to the weight of a bag of crisps, 22g that way the would only be a couple of grams out as it would only allow a calibration of 20g, then put on the Mini 3 and it came in at 116g lol so i calibrated to a can of beans at 200g and the drone came in at 221g, so I've given up, without a proper calibration weight its a dead end game

This guys came in at 249

Gavins came in at 248

Well I have some proper scales for light weight measurements,  mostly used for herbs and spices but on mine it comes out at 249.0 exactly and its in 0.1g increments unlike kitchen scales which are often 5grams.

So perhaps that weight is wrong,  but that would mean any filter over 1.1grams would make the drone illegal.

Dodgey that they all use kitchen scales, I need to get out my special scales for this and give it a go.

The problem is that DJI uses thread locker. The Mini and Mini 2 needed it because of the barely adequate thread engagement. The Mini 3 really does not need it because of  the full engagement. Or a much less aggressive type.

I'm sure the components they buy from different manufacturers have a slight weight difference also.  I still really like the portability of the sub 249G drones.

Not sure about that, but i would trust kitchen scales more than luggage ones though.

I am surprised you haven't weighed yours already, especially when there are so many different weights going around. My El Cheapo jeweller's scales are just completely useless until i can get a calibrated weight and even then, I'm not sure i have any faith but i will order a weight off amazon and see what happens.

Mine was weighed at a Gold and Gem store that buys and sells gold so there scale is calibrated and re-certified quarterly.  Mine weighed 246G so I guess I got the runt of the litter so to speak.

At 246g you should enjoy slightly loner flight times

I used my "special" scales. they are so sensitive you can change the weight of something just by blowing on it.

wanted to change 3 of the propellers from my DJI MINI 3 PRO for the first time as they had some wear and since I had 4 new propellers, why not? To my surprise ALL 3 screws were very tight! One was impossible to unscrew. I didn’t want to send it in for a screw that’s stuck. That’s ridiculous, I tought, so I forced it. The plastic thread broke off completely, with the screw in it.

I had same problem. Needed to replace one broken propeller and stripped the thread. Had to send it in to DJI just because of that! Really poor design, really poor screwdriver. I even bought a better screwdriver and still had problems removing the rest of the props. Not sure what the solution is but the situation is unsatisfactory.

I have  the same issue with one head of the screw broke off and the rest of the screw remaining in the thread. I don't have any care assurance, but in my opinion the whole thing is a weak point/ bad development and it should be repaired on warranty. Somebody here who DJI accepted to repair on warranty?

To anyone coming across this thread.

I sent my drone to DJI, after the initial review they wanted me to pay for the cost of parts and labor. I talked to support and told them that the issue is due to the faulty screw and excessive use of adhesive and after taking a second look they covered it under warranty and actually sent me a brand new drone which I didn't expect.
