BRAND NEW drone with less than 1 hour of flight time on it and its nothign more than a paperweight. I flew one battey pack and then received the fly more pack. Followed the instructions to update all the batteries with the latest firmware and now all i get is a 30064 error.


I have reloaded the firmware with the PC
Reset to factory
Recalibrated the compass and IMU
I have tried a second controller with the same results
tried 3 different batteries
turned off obsticle avoidance

the flashlight trick shown on youtube
updated the Fly database


I can see the battery percentage, strong signal for both the remote and the GPS but it won't fly. This has to be a DJI software issue.

About the only thing I haven't tried is hitting it with a hammer... can't make it any worse at this point

Has anyone had any luck getting past this error or are we all just screwed?

Welcome to the club, there are three other threads here discussing the same problem.
I would suggest you have a look at them, any thread with 30064 in title.

Bottom line is nobody has found a solution to problem which seems to be caused by using latest version of DJI Assist (consumer) 2.1.11.

DJI are aware of the problem but to date offer no solutions apart from sending drone back.

Some of us are holding out hope that DJI will release a software fix soon so are not sending ours back YET.

I have seen the other threads. I opened this so there was more for DJI to see. I called their support and that was an effort in futility and that was again the only option they gave.... sending it back.

There are many of us in limbo with or M3P but this is the first acknowledgement of the issue.
Looking forward to that firmware to get this little guy back in the air!

They had the 30064 error with the Air2S as well and it was corrected with a firmware update.  Fingers crossed.

Mindy - Its great that you are acknowledging the issue and working on it but "soon" isn't a anything that helps most of us. I have an event starting Thursday that I have to shoot and my drone is dead and of course there is no way that I can send it in and get it back in time. When is this expected release coming?

out of 6 people i know having also bought the drone at the same store as i did, 3 are having the 30064 error. so better hurry... or the damage to DJI's reputation will go up exponentially. every hour counts... for both of us ;-)

Presumably the thing to do would be to roll back to the previous version?  Then resolve this afterwards?

Please expedite this fix. My mini is effectively bricked with the 30064 error. Some of us rely on this unit for work. Every day we're down, we're losing work! This is rough

yes i got the beta firmware. thank you. but looks like there are lot more people coming in with the same issue, judging from the forum posts.

Hi DJI Thor, I've posted to you and SJI Susan as I have also been grounded since 11th September with the same issue, since the last firmware update.  So, I would appreciate if you could keep us up to date.  So far DJI have not even acknowledged this issue in the main website.
