received my drone 2 days ago and I barely have a thousand ft of flight time before that DJI Assistant 2 consumer software bricked it, I am about ready to send back for a refund before its too late!

Boy oh boy, same boat as all you other DJI users .... had my MP3 all of 72 hours and foolishly connected it to my PC via Drone Assistant 2. Did not do anything other than flick through the four options to see what the program was about and copied down 1 .dng image to check file image quality etc. Disconnected the drone and had a heart-sinking moment when I very quickly realised it was bricked. Fortunately for me, I was able to contact DJI online and they were able to send their firmware update patch across to my account/controller. Once I had installed the update, everything was operational again.

I think it will be a very long time before I attempt to connect my drone to said DA2 app on the PC again
