We've had a few nights of steady rain, and the river is already running faster over the weir.
The reservoirs should slowly begin to fill up again, with luck.

My muscles in the incision area are still a bit tender but healing is going well.  Doctor will take staples out on Monday, Sept. 12.  So for now, just taking it easy.

Last night it was torrential here too,   I live on a slight hill and there was 4ft of water coming down that you could have canoed in.   But this morning none of the ponds that I pass have any more water than a few days ago so I guess the ground is sucking it all up still.    I have places a couple of markers in the ponds to gauge how they fill up.

I took a shot this morning of the incoming rain clouds,  its in the Works section,   its finally stopped raining here now but I dont think it will be long before it restarts.

Its quite a safe hobby,   the only cutting I do uses wheel cutter and the stitching is with quite a blunt needle.
