After several weeks of nothing but clear blue skies (and 100+ degree temperatures), we have finally got something resembling the clouds around sunset.

I got so excited that I actually drove to my favorite spot on Sunset Hills, hiked up, and flew down to Bard Lake.

Unfortunately, the sunset was pretty much a dud, there was no light whatsoever.
Yet I got 3 pano, at 3 different altitudes and distances from the dam.

I was surprised by how the color of the water changed with the altitude/angle.

You let me know which one you like the best.

#1 ~400 ft above the lake



#2 ~ 200 ft above the lake



#3 ~ 50 ft above the lake
