Waiting for the tide.......

2 SUP boarders arrived by train complete with pre filled SUP boards,  but they got in too early and had to wait for the tide.

That collection of boats surrounding their eventual departure was worth the wait for that shot alone, David.

Looks as if they had to wait pretty long!

Funny thing was I actually followed them from the railway station, they came out as I passed so I had to hang/hover about for a bit when I saw them setting up.    I probably caught them on my second flight so about 25 minutes.

thats right Aero,  the ramp is used for putting smaller boats in and out of the water and belongs to the marina so its not available for general use.

Do you mean the boat wrecks Mr B?    I was quite pleased with the sunset light in the shot too.

the ones on the right certainly are abandoned boats,  the ones on the left are not.

Yes the four batteries certainly help,  especially when it comes to the flight distance.

It is.  There is more rain scheduled though.  The area between the grass and pontoon is not normally wet though.
