Not necessarily,  in some places restrictions will be in place for a lower altitude.  

I’ve had mine up to 460m. It’s very impressive up so high!

I am, however, limited to 150m where I live. When cell reception (phone reception is what we call it in Australia) is around it’s automatically locked within the drone. With no cell reception it’s only limited by your set limit!

Where I live the general limit is 120m above ground. It is also lower in some places (30 m in some cities). If the starting point is on the mountain and I fly over the valley, the height of 120 m is often far exceeded. An eagle is significantly heavier than a MINI 2 and is allowed to fly there too...

According to FAA you can only fly 400ft unless... under 107 you are allowed to fly 400ft above structures if in 400ft radius of said structure... for example cell phone towers are on average 50-200ft so legally you'd be allowed to fly 600ft AGL (200ft structure + 400ft regulation)
