Anymore details on the 'Optimized flight safety' ?

Is it a fix for the sudden yawing issue that causes the drone to flip extremely on its side when in manual mode and crashes?

Optimised flight safety - what ever the optimisation is, its only for the aircraft that changes firmware edition in this release

I'll wait until more is known and if the FCC hack isn't undone by this update.

"Optimized flight safety" ain't meaningful. Will next update be just labelled "Well, better"?

But Yes Avata tends to jump violently on the left every now and then - for now I manage to counter it before the crash but today was very severe

Still waiting for mine to arrive. But from reading drifting seemed an issue. Optimizations are normally the best updates for all dji aircraft. But was just wondering if it will affect FCC hack.

They'll shoot themself in the leg if they disable it rendering Avata useless in CE, but who knows, for now - no warnings

Nope, only S or N but it's severe and unpredictable

DJI please put little effort in informing customers what is in each update. as You see, we need proper communication!

P. S. I've not experienced any drifting/erratic behavior whatsoever (12 flights/18mi.).

I can confirm that FCC Mode (with the 0 byte file) still works!

In all the years I have been flying DJI birds, I have seen this same message 1,000 times easy.
DJI does not listen to you or any of the 999 others I have seen request this. Never going to happen.

DJI firmware updates are like easter eggs that explode occasionally. You will learn to appreciate it over time. lol
~ egg on face.

Anybody willing to try some real sharp turns after update and tell us the result? ;)

I can also confirm the file method worked for me.
What I don’t understand is why it was in CE mode when I live in Australia, should be in FCC mode which is legal here and all my Mavics default to FCC out of the box

Oh, don't you know about this?

You can simply check on how many channels (40 MHz) transmission to another goggle is possible...
CE = 1
FCC=3

Doesn’t effect the unlock with Goggles 2 so I’m happy

After firmware updated I could not see the H (home point) when I flew my Avata with motion controller. Can anyone please check it and let me know?

Ouch!  That's NOT good.  I haven't yet done the update yet (sometimes I like to wait to see what others are reporting before taking the plunge).   1st I'm seeing regarding that (but it's still early).  Hopefully others may be able to confirm.  Sorry your having issues.

I am seeing the "H" with Motion Controller. It does appear that the "H" is not visible while you are close to the HomePoint. When I flew away it appeared and when I approached what was clearly my launch-point it disappeared again.

FCC mode hack should not me blocked in any way, this is crazy.DJI should give the solution officially or unofficially instead of blocking it.

To clarify....the above firmware update is for the AIRCRAFT (AVATA) only!  
    - Aircraft Firmware: v01.01.0200  (Earlier firmware from 8/25/2022 was:  Aircraft Firmware: v01.01.0000)

From everything reported here so far.....this firmware update (to aircraft) does NOT impact the FCC Hack.  

Confirmed, just updated and FCC enabled

I can confirm that my home point "H" is still there. Did you make sure that you were at least 100 feet away from you? I know that it will not show the "H" if you are close to yourself.

That is correct. It seems they made it go away if you are within like 50 feet of the home point. It does not show until you are further away from yourself (home point).
