Great top down shot DA.    You could have almost landed on the top of that mast but it would have been a real balancing act.

They sure did and you are well over half way to 47M.  

Excellent capture, thanks for sharing. In the "old days", one would get a shot like this by actually climbing the mast with a camera, which doesn't sound like nearly as much fun as flying it.

Nothing wrong with 66F.  Saw where CNN had live coverage of the Queen's funeral early this AM here.  I was asleep but I'm sure they will show clips later in the day today.

They reported this morning it will be the most watched television broadcast ever.   And I’m not surprised,  it you wanted to film an apocalyptic film the roads are deserted and the people I did see were getting in their daily exercise extra early like me.

I’m about 150miles south of mr b so he’ll feel it first.  We should get up to 70f this week for a few days but it’s going down hill rapidly now, especially overnight.

That is definitely an oddity to hear about the roads being empty.

Unfortunately, summer weather has to end for you.  However, you do get to see all 4 seasons and that does change the scenery quite a bit I'm sure.  Here it is mostly Spring and Summer (sun, sand, wind and the beach).

Last recorded snow to stay on the ground for more than a few minutes in Florida was January 19, 1977.  It shut down everything as they don't have snow removal equipment, snow plows or even salt for the roads like they do up in the Northeastern US.

wow.  now that was some time ago.    Odd are then this year you wont see much.

Doubtful we will see any in Florida at all, which is just fine with me.  The Navy sent me to enough snow locations to last for a lifetime.
