Nice shot Mr B,    so nice Im inspired to stop at the canal on the way back from the MILs as thats given me the idea for a shot too.  Perhaps you need to start a theme Thursdays or something.

Yeah, that probably would have created a NFZ situation.  But 3 our of 4 is still fantastic.

If I had aligned the gimbal to the 60 degree up angle I might have got a jet-trail against the sky

It's the narrowboat Marina at Furness Vale Depp. On the left, there is a lake, and to the extreme left is a section of the Goyt River.

Yes, effectively. The shot is a frame from a video filmed at 3840x2160.
