Hello ladies and gents,
It has been a while now.

Just got the DJI Avata and tried to charge the motion controller but it will NOT charge more than 2 dots. Anyone had this problem? Any advice?

Hello there dronist. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please try using a different charger with a specification of 5V, 1A/2A for us to be bale to see if the issue will persist. Thank you.

Not sure if this is your situation, but both controllers (motion and fpv) can only be charged using USB-A to USB-C cable. I've tried it with USB-C to USB-C and it wasn't charging.

What type of charger you using they can be temperamental to charge A-C.

I had the same problem. The suggested cable will fix your woes.

Is that really you???

Yup I survvived COVID...

I used the supplied USB-C  cable with my battery pack that provides 5V/3A. I also used it with a wall plug that supplies the same 5V/3A. The light on the motion controller doesn't turn on and or blink to show that it is charging.
